茶筅の標準的な穂数は70本前後ですが、100本立ての穂数は81～95本前後。きめ細かな泡を作ることができ、初心者の方でも比較的使いやすい茶筅です。

The essential handcrafted tea whisk is made for use when making matcha.
Matcha whisks, known as chasen in Japanese, are handcrafted from a single piece of bamboo. Because of its association with the tea ceremony, there is an array of bamboo matcha whisks available, ranging in shape, price and value. However, the basic concept varies only subtly, and most are handcrafted from white bamboo, with 80, 100, or 120 prongs.
